VEGNPROY®Rice protein is a food grade concentrate rice protein isolated made from 100% non-GMO rice. It provides high level of nutrition and functionality. The process of extracting rice protein includes wet milling, enzyme digestion, separation, concentration treatment, and high-temperature drying, among other steps.

 

■ Nutritional Value

VEGNPROY®Rice protein contains all essential amino acids. It has the highest lysine content among cereal proteins and a reasonable proportion of essential amino acids, such as threonine and methionine. This is in line with the nutritional pattern recommended by the FAO/WHO. However, the price of the raw material is high, surpassing corn and wheat and approaching the level of animal proteins, such as eggs. Rice protein has a higher protein digestibility and utilization rate than other plant proteins and conventional grains.
