CLA oils are available forms in free fatty acid (FFA), ethyl ester (EE)and triglyceride (TG) forms. CLA has fewer natural sources and exists in the form of free fatty acid, which is easily oxidized and has a bad taste. Therefore, the main way to obtain CLA is to synthesize it in the form of glycerol ester, which preserves the nutritional value of CLA, has better odor and stability, and the synthesis cost is lower.

Conjugated linoleic acid glyceride (CLA-TG) is a long-chain fatty acid ester with conjugated double bonds, making it difficult to emulsify. Richtek combined CLA-TG with starch or gum, small molecule filler and antioxidant under certain conditions, and microencapsulation of CLA-TG was obtained by shear emulsification and high pressure homogenization, so that it is easy to be emulsified, and the effect of stability and bioavailability can be improved.
