Nutrivitas®Vitamin E is the main antioxidant on cell membranes (or organelle membranes) and protects cell membranes. In the body, it protects cells from free radical damage, slows aging, and strengthens the body's immune system.
Nutrivitas®Vitamin E Health Benefits:
■ Source
In 1922, Evans and Bishop found that feeding rats a lard-based diet resulted in infertility, suggesting a deficiency in the diet. The fertility of the rats was restored by adding a cereal lipid extract to the diet; this substance became known as the "anti-infertility factor", and in 1925 vitamin E was officially recognized as the 5th vitamin, and in 1969 the US FDA officially recognized vitamin E as an essential nutrient.
■ Absorption and metabolism
Most of the ester form of Richtek vitamin E is hydrolyzed by pancreatic lipase and intestinal mucosal esterase and then absorbed by intestinal mucosal cells by passive diffusion, while a small portion of the ester form remains and is absorbed into the body circulation in the form of microparticles through the intestinal mucosal cells. In the blood circulation, after hydrolysis of the celiac particles by lipoprotein lipase, a small portion of the vitamin E can be released into the tissues or transferred to HDL, while most of the Nutrivitas®Vitamin E is still present in the remaining particles of the celiac particles to be transported to the liver, where it is recognized and taken up by hepatocytes. The remainder of the alpha-tocopherol and other vitamin E that is not delivered goes through the xenobiotic pathway and is eventually excreted in the urine.
■ Natural vs. Synthetic
Ingredients: Natural vitamin E is mainly derived from plants, such as wheat germ oil and sunflower seed oil, and its main component is D-alpha-tocopherol. Synthetic vitamin E, on the other hand, is usually derived from petrochemical by-products such as trimethylhydroquinone, and its main component is DL-alpha-tocopherol. Structures: D-alpha-tocopherol is the most biologically active form of vitamin E, and its natural form consists of one isomer. In contrast, synthetic alpha-tocopherol contains eight different isomers, of which only one (about 12 percent of the synthetic molecule) is identical to natural vitamin E. The other seven isomers range in potency from 21 percent to 90 percent of natural d-alpha-tocopherol. Physiological activity: Natural vitamin E is assimilated far better than synthetic versions. Specific binding and transport proteins produced in the liver select the natural d-alpha form of vitamin E and largely ignore all other forms. Bioavailability: In blood levels, natural vitamin E increased twice as much as those of the synthetic form in healthy subjects and pregnant women. In umbilical cords, natural vitamin E levels were three times higher than synthetic vitamin levels.
Physical and Chemical Properties:
Product quality standards:
● BP, EP, USP, In-house, Feed grade
Production technology description:
● Nutrivitas®natural Vitamin E products are obtained from the deodorized distillate of vegetable oils which are esterified, separated, distilled and methylated to form mixed tocopherol concentrates, which are then hydrogenated to form D-α-tocopherol. D-α-tocopherol is added to acetic anhydride to form D-α-tocopherol acetate and to succinic anhydride to form D-α-tocopherol succinate. Products of various specifications are obtained by dilution with carrier oil.
● Nutrivitas® synthetic vitamin E products can be produced by a variety of synthesis methods, including the Metacresol method, the BASF method and the Roche method.
