Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) Health Benefits:

Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) is an active metabolite of vitamin B6, which is a cofactor in many reactions of amino acid metabolism. It plays an important role in the metabolism of sugars, lipids and amino acids, particularly in the biosynthesis of amino acids and essential biomolecules.

■ Source

Pyridoxal (one of the natural forms of vitamin B6) was first isolated and identified from animal organ extracts in 1942, and subsequent studies revealed the central role of its phosphorylated forms (e.g. pyridoxal 5'-phosphate) in biometabolism, In the mid-20th century, studies confirmed that Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) is the major active coenzyme form of vitamin B6 in the cell, involved in key processes such as amino acid metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis.

Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) occurs naturally in animal liver, yeast and cereals. Naturally occurring vitamin B6 (pyridoxine, pyridoxal, pyridoxamine) is phosphorylated in vivo to form pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate.

Particularities of Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate):

Product Specifications:

Production technology description:

Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) is used as the starting material and pyridoxal phosphate is produced by a phosphorylation reaction (e.g. catalysed by phosphorus trichloride) and then purified by crystallisation to give the monohydrate. Efficient biosynthesis is achieved by using microorganisms (e.g. Escherichia coli ) to express phosphokinase, which catalyses the phosphorylation of pyridoxal.

 Pharmaceutical field

Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) is used to treat vitamin B6 deficiency, anaemia and homocysteinemia, to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis. It helps to improve chemical liver damage and fatty liver by improving detoxification. Common dosage forms include tablets/capsules blended with stabilisers (e.g. lactose, starch) to form solid oral dosage forms; injectable dosage forms as sterile lyophilised powder, compounded and dissolved for intravenous injection, suitable for critically ill patients.

Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 ( Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) Applications:

As the active form of vitamin B6, Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) is added to infant formulas, dietary supplements and functional drinks to participate in amino acid metabolism and protein synthesis, and to enhance the nutritional value of foods. As a coenzyme in fermented foods (e.g. dairy products, spices), it promotes microbial metabolism to improve fermentation efficiency and is commonly available in powdered dosage form, encapsulated by microencapsulation technology, used in solid beverages or dietary supplements. Liquid additives are dissolved in acidic solutions and added to liquid nutritional products or functional beverages.

Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) participates as a coenzyme in the transamination, decarboxylation and racemisation of amino acids, assisting in the synthesis and catabolism of amino acids, in particular playing a key role in the conversion of glutamate to gamma-aminobutyric acid.

Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) plays an important role in the synthesis of neurotransmitters such as gamma-aminobutyric acid, 5-hydroxytryptamine and dopamine, which are essential for maintaining normal brain function and emotional stability.

Nutrivitas® Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) is involved in the process of haemoglobin synthesis. A deficiency of Nutrivitas® Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) can lead to anaemia because haemoglobin cannot be synthesised efficiently.

Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) can be used as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, inhibiting lipid oxidation in the skin and reducing the release of inflammatory factors, and is used in anti-allergy repair products. VB6 is used in whitening serums and lotions to reduce melanin production by inhibiting tyrosinase activity.

 Cosmetic field

 Energy metabolism

Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) helps convert stored glycogen into glucose by participating in glycogenolysis, especially in muscle tissue, which is important for maintaining athletic performance.

 Immune system

Nutrivitas®Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal 5'-phosphate monohydrate) is involved in the production and maturation of lymphocytes and supports the function of macrophages, which helps the immune system to efficiently produce antibodies and regulate cytokine production, thus enhancing the overall function of the immune system.
